   Sydney Katz made this observation in a March 1964 Maclean's magazine story - one of the first "positive" articles on homosexuality ever published in the Canadian mass-media. Formed in 1995 to enhance the lives of the Transgendered community and their families, Xpressions This link will open in a new browser window is now one of the area's largest support and social groups for TS/TG people. Board member (and York University Professor) Michael "Miqqi" Gilbert joins us to talk about the group and its goal to "liberate our members from the confines of the closet and free them from society's restrictive ideology of gender."
